We all need time to just relax and unwind at the end of a busy day. If you’re anything like me, you don’t do this enough. When I get home from work, I immediately start cooking dinner and take a shower. Then, I hop on my laptop and get some blogging work done until it’s time for bed. I could stop blogging an hour earlier every night and spend that last hour before bed doing something relaxing for myself. I hope the list below inspires you to slow down and take time to spoil yourself tonight. Enjoy!
1. Change into your favorite yoga pants & big comfy sweatshirt
2. Take a bath with amazing smelling bath salts or essential oils
3. Pour yourself a glass of wine or hot tea.
4. Spend at least 30 minutes laying on the couch reading (no technology – real books or magazines!)
5. Use a hydrating and deep cleansing face mask
6. Eat a piece of decadent dessert
7. Google a skill you’ve always wanted to learn
8. Turn on your favorite tunes – for me right now it’s “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon
9. Get active by popping in your favorite yoga video or going for a walk
10. Catch up on your favorite TV series on Netflix or your DVR
