Resolution #1: Try more unique vegetarian meals.
Action: Visit the many vegetarian restaurants near my home.
Action: Try making meat-free recipes from my new Barefoot Contessa cookbook.
Action: Go to Whole Foods on Mondays for Meatless Monday! I can fill up an entire plate of food (as long as the lid fits) for only $8.
Resolution #2: Get back into the gym.
Action: Make a workout plan and stick to it.
Action: Go to the gym right after work without stopping home first.
Action: Buy cute new workout gear to inspire me.
Resolution #3: Spend more time for me.
Action: Take more yoga classes (preferably in-studio, because Pete is very distracting).
Action: Learn more about essential oils and finally purchase a diffuser and oil set.
Action: Instead of surfing the Internet before bed, spend that time reading.
Resolution #4: Create delicious smoothies and juices.
Action: Make smoothies and juices using “new to me” ingredients, including turmeric, bee pollen, etc.
Action: Share at least one new smoothie or juice recipe on the blog each month.
Action: Add more protein into my smoothies. I shared a post-workout recipe earlier this week in which I added hemp seeds for protein! From now until January 8, Whole Foods Philly is running a healthy living contest on Instagram where you can win a VitaMix blender. All you have to do is share your favorite post-workout snack and tag #fuelyourfit and @wfmphilly
Resolution #5: Continue getting my health in order.
Action: You saw from this post that I’m taking a lot of vitamins everyday. I plan to continue that in the new year and add probiotics back into my diet. There are a lot of places to get probiotics, but I’ll be checking Whole Foods first, because from January 8-10 they will be having a 25% sale of all vitamins and supplements.
Action: Get my blood tested for vitamin levels at least one time in 2016.
Action: Find a new dentist closer to my home. Driving 45 minutes to an hour is getting to be too much.
