I love Whole Foods, and I’m so grateful that I have a store within five minutes of my house. Anytime I don’t feel like cooking dinner myself (which is quite frequently), I stop by my local store for a delicious salad, tacos from the rooftop food truck, or a quick veggie burger.
A few weeks ago, I did a post titled 5 products always in my cart at Trader Joe’s, and it was really well received. That being said, I knew that I had to do a similar post. So today I’m sharing with you 5 products always in my cart at Whole Foods!
1. Baguette, $2.69
The first item I’m going to talk about today is the bread from Whole Foods’ bakery. Every time we’re at the store we grab a fresh loaf and have the staff slice it for us. Last weekend, we grabbed a baguette, but we also really love the sourdough and Italian bread. We love dipping the baguette into this amazing smoky olive oil. How gorgeous is that bottle? (By the way, you can purchase it from Whole Foods too!)
2. Almond Milk, $2.99
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I love Whole Foods’ almond milk because it is carrageenan-free! You can check out that post to read all about the dangers of carrageenan and why I stay away from it. Although I’m not 100% dairy-free anymore, I love adding almond milk to cereal and coffee. (Side note: right now I’m LOVING adding pumpkin pie spice to my coffee. You have to try it. It’s so delicious, and much healthier than pumpkin spice lattes.)
3. Guacamole, $4.55
I’m a huge fan of guacamole, and the Whole Foods version is made in-house daily. It’s so incredibly fresh, and is made with avocados, onion, lime, cilantro, hot peppers, salt and pepper. It’s so much better than buying a jar of guacamole that contains a ton of preservatives.
4. Craft Beer, Price Varies
Bryan’s favorite thing at Whole Foods is the craft beer that they have on tap. A few years ago, we purchased two small growlers that we love filling up whenever we’re at Whole Foods. This weekend, we filled up with Victory’s Kirsch Gose (Cherry Goose). It’s a light red colored beer with a favor of tart cherries and salt. A portion of the sales from our purchase went to help fight breast cancer.
5. Flax Seeds, $4.99
You all know how much I love my seeds, so it’s no surprise that flax seeds are on this list. I love the 365 brand of flax seeds because the price can’t be beat. I combine flaxseeds with hemp and chia seeds, and sprinkle the mixture on yogurt and fruit. Flaxseeds are a rich source of micronutrients, fiber, vitamin B1, and omega-3.

Hi Nicole, do you grind your flax seeds prior to adding to yogurt or eat them whole? How do you keep them fresh after opening the bag?
I eat them whole 🙂
Guacamole is ALWAYS a must! That baguette looks relish too!
🙂 TRUE!!
