Christmas Eve Surprise

The following post is sponsored by Dollar Tree and the Dollar Tree Value Seekers Club.
As always, all original ideas and opinions are my own. For more information see my disclosures here.

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting super stressed out about Christmas. What am I getting ___? Who do we still need to make plans with? What time do we need to be at ___?  So when Dollar Tree asked me to check out some of their holiday craft tutorials, I couldn’t say no. Who doesn’t love relaxing and doing crafts during the holidays?! When it seems like I don’t have a minute to myself, making the time to put together something special needs to happen.

I headed over to the Dollar Tree Value Seekers Club to search for a tutorial that I could do quickly and inexpensively. The club is full of crafts, recipes, décor and frugal fun ideas that can all be created with Dollar Tree products (which are all $1 each!).

After perusing ideas for a while, I decided to put together a Christmas Eve Surprise that Bryan and I can enjoy together on Christmas Eve night. After the hustle and bustle of shopping and visiting family, it will be nice to sit down and just relax before Christmas day activities. (Note: this obviously couldn’t be a true surprise since Bryan reads the blog, but he probably won’t remember this anyway).

Christmas Eve Surprise

For my Christmas Eve Surprise, I decided to go with the theme of movie night in. I have so many favorite Christmas movies, but I’m unsure which one we’ll watch. Maybe The Holiday, A Charlie Brown Christmas or Jingle All the Way. All three are so good! To go along with the movie, I picked up a few items from Dollar Tree.

Let’s take a look inside, shall we?!

1. Popcorn: obviously a movie night necessity. The more butter the better, in my opinion.

2. Popcorn bins: How cute are these little popcorn bins from Dollar Tree? You get two in a pack for only a $1! Now Bryan can’t complain that I’m eating all his popcorn.

3. Hot Chocolate: Since I’ll be drinking a lot of wine and cocktails on Christmas day, I wanted to be low key on Christmas Eve. Hot chocolate is always a favorite in our house.

4. Candy: I picked up Cookies n Cream Bites, Mike And Ike, and Buncha Crunch. If these aren’t your favorites, Dollar Tree has so many other options for you to pick from.
