This past weekend I was in the mood for a quick, affordable DIY project. I drove over to Michaels and was inspired to create my own fall wreath. In my opinion, wreathes just make an apartment/house/condo feel so homey.
Luckily Michaels was having a huge sale (aren’t they always?!) on the day I went shopping so I got everything I needed for under $20!
What you’ll need:
- Grapevine wreath = $4.99
- Red and orange berry sprays = $1 each / I purchased 13 to fill the circumference of the wreath.
Directions:
- Bend each berry spray and weave it into the wreath. I found that bending them into an “S” shape worked best for me.
- Continue securing each berry spray until you have filled the wreath.
- If needed, remove any excess grapevine branches.
Wasn’t that simple?! I love red and orange for fall, and this wreath puts a smile on my face every time I get home. Now that I’ve discovered that wreath making is SUPER easy, I’m excited to make a wreath for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, 4th of July… any random holiday…

This is adorable and looks so easy. I actually just purchased a wreath yesterday but there is nothing wrong with having more than one! 🙂
Thanks, Jenn. I agree!
This wreath is absolutely beautiful. I love how the berries look against the wreath and door! Thanks for linking to the Do Tell Tuesday party–hope to see you there again!
very cute! I would want to add an “R” for my new last name somewhere in it! (:
That’s a great idea, Danielle! I think I’ll add an R for my last name in my Christmas/Winter wreaths. Looking forward to creating more!
I need to make this! I see these on Etsy going for like $75! Craziness!
I can’t believe people actually spend that much money on them!! The materials are super cheap and it literally took 5-10 minutes to assemble.
Thanks Joanna! It really is simple! I hate spending too much time on DIY projects so if i can figure out a quick way to do it, I’m all about it 🙂
I love how simple this is! Right now I have pumpkins on my front door, but I’ll need something new once October is over – this would be perfect! Thanks for sharing!
