Guess what I did yesterday? My alarm went off at 5AM and I jumped out of bed ready to start my day. I quickly got dressed and drove over to my hot yoga studio for a 5:45am class!
It was my first in-studio yoga class in a while, so I am definitely feeling a bit sore today but I loved every minute of it. I loved that I felt like I accomplished so much so early in the morning.
My studio only offers early morning yoga on Wednesdays, so I’ll have to go again next week. I need to start going more frequently, because lately my life has been: wake up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, sleep. For most of America I’m sure has this same routine, but I can’t stand it. I need to do something other than work, otherwise I’ll go insane. Morning yoga is the best because when I get to work I’m happier and more energized.
Yoga classes can get expensive, so I’m going to try to buy a bulk package so I can go whenever I want and not worry about spending the $15 for each class.
One pose that I want to master this year is yoga bird of paradise. I hope to get back the flexibility I’ve lost, because I don’t think the pose it too difficult. It’s the flexibility factor that’s holding me back.
Some other poses I want to keep working towards are:
crow (source)
side crow (source)
scorpion (source)

- What’s your favorite yoga pose?
I buy packages as well, and spread them out and use my home practice in between! I’m always so happy I drag myself out of bed for an early morning class! Post some Yoga pics of yourself sometime!
Yay!!!! So happy you made it to it 😀 I was trying to do the scorpion, I would love to learn how to do the side crow, only problem is I just don’t know how to get my body to move in the direction I want for the pose. Or maybe I’m just not strong enough for it yet lol.
Im thisclose to crowing 🙂
but not yet.
