February Book Club Details

Hello readers. I hope you all are enjoying reading “Reconstructing Amelia” or “The Most Beautiful Walk in the World.” I am a little over 70% done “Reconstructing Amelia” and holy cow is it good! I can’t wait to finish it and find out answers to all the questions I have.

Last month I couldn’t get myself to finish the first book I recommended for the book club (The Most Beautiful Walk in the World), so moving forward I’m putting out the option of choosing between two books. The books for February are both New York Times Best Sellers – “Beautiful Ruins” by Jess Walter and “Sworn to Silence” by Linda Castillo. 

First up, here’s a summary from the back cover of “Beautiful Ruins”:

I’m going to start with “Sworn to Silence,” since I LOVE mystery novels. However since I know that a murder mystery might not be for anyone, feel free to read “Beautiful Ruins.”
