This week has been crazy. With my new job, I am trying to get into a new routine. Running has gone to the back burner this week. I’m not going to lie and act like I followed my training at all this week. I did one measly terrible mile this week, but I do plan to get my 7 miler in this weekend. I figure if I can’t get done my short runs during this week, I need to at least get in the long one.
Let’s take a look at some of my favorite things this week.
Tea early morning in my office. I’ve been loving tea this week.
It doesn’t upset my stomach as much as coffee does and it helps me stay awake!
Packages from Premier Protein. I came home yesterday to find this gem! I’ll have a full review on this next week. I can’t wait to taste these products out.
(recycled photo) My bed! There’s nothing more perfect than my bed this week.
My video series on the Fitfluential Blog. A new video uploaded every Thursday!
Talk to Me
- What do you drink during the day at work? Water, coffee, tea?
- Would you guys be interested in me doing a vlog once a week exclusively here?
- What do you have planned for this weekend?
I drink water, anything other than it and i pee a lot lol
going to see my hairstylist and doing some fall shopping 🙂 have a good weekend!!
I’m seeing my hair stylist on Thursday! Much needed!
Can’t wait to read your review. I’ve heard so many wonderful things about this product.
Water, water & water.
Our little bundle of joy (our dog) will finally be joining us out here in Kuwait tomorrow around midnight. The hubs & I are beyond thrilled & cannot wait to cuddle w/ her all day Sunday!
Water, water, water — for sure!!
Don’t worry about one week of training, especially at the beginning. What I would do would be take an average between the mileage you were supposed to do this week, and the mileage you are meant to do next week, and average it out and make a “hybrid week” plan to follow next week, before continuing to the regular plan for the week after. It’s just a suggestion, but maybe it’s something to consider?
Race day on Sunday!! The excitement is starting to switch over to nerves just a bit …
That’s a good tip, Chelsie. today I did 7 miles and barely finished!
But you DID and that’s all that counts. No long runs will hurt as much as those first 7, 8 and 9 milers. Stick with it!! I totally believe you can rock this. You’re fit and motivated. Go get ’em! 🙂
Yea, those 7 miles i did yesterday were rough! I hope it gets easier!
