1. Personalized Stationery
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know I’m obsessed with pretty stationery. Vienna has her own, which is overboard for a 3 year old but whatever. I like having a set on deck for myself too. I’m specific though. It must be a heavy card stock, can’t look cheesy, and nothing too trendy. I like ones with a clean design so I can use it for any occasion. When Basic Invite reached out wanting to partner for this post, I ordered some samples to test and said, “Absolutely!”
I love that Basic Invite allows you to order a printed personalized sample of the actual product before placing a final order. I’ve ordered stationery from a bunch of vendors throughout the years and I can tell you that feature is unique to just a few places. I customized the colors and fonts on each piece I ordered and was so happy with the result. I chose the Antique Frame, Elegant Blossoms, Floral Bouquet, Photo Grid, and Personal Shopper designs. Shipping was so fast and the color printing was high quality. It’s hard to pick my favorite, but I think I’m going to order a set of the Antique Frame design (the pink one in the photos above). It’s absolutely perfect for “thank you” or “just thinking of you” notes.
2. Planting Flowers with Vienna
Vienna is 1000% my child. She is always asking me when we are planting new flowers and watering the ones we currently have. I can’t help but feed into her hobby because I also enjoy it. A few weeks ago, we took at trip to Lowe’s after swim lessons and walked around for at least an hour picking flowers. She had such a great time helping. Vienna got the sweetest gardening set and sunhat for Easter from my in-laws and she asks to put it on every time we go outside. I look forward to this quality time with her because she gets super excited. There’s nothing better than hearing her laugh as I chase her around the yard or when I put my sunglasses on backwards and she tells me I did it wrong.
3. Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo and Conditioner
When I got my hair colored last, my stylist Zoe recommended this set from Redken. I recently ran out of my Kerastase shampoo and conditioner so I figured I’d give it a shot. OMG, you guys. It smells amazing and actually works great. The bonding concentrate line is formulated with citric acid which helps reinforce weakened hair and keeps your color vibrant. When I started coloring my hair, I noticed that it was extremely dry, brittle and overall dull. This shampoo and conditioner set totally transformed my hair. I also use the leave-in treatment every time I blow dry. I put a dime-sized amount in my hands and then brush it through wet hair. It not only makes my hair silky smooth and smell amazing, but it also acts as a heat protectant. Highly recommend!
