Hello friends. It’s Friday! Get excited. This week was very relaxing, but I started working on some freelance projects so I did do more than watching Say Yes To the Dress Atlanta and checking Facebook. Although, I do think I’m picking up a slight southern accent from marathoning that show.
Here are some of my Friday Favorites for this week:
This week I made a yummy veggie soup in the crockpot. I’ll share the recipe with you all next week. Here’s what’s inside: veggie broth, onion, butternut squash, carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, garlic, sage, salt and pepper. Super easy and very delicious.
I purchased a bunch of peaches last week and I made the mistake of putting them in the refrigerator before they were fully ripe, so they took forever to ripen. I tried a few this week and they were finally perfect. I think I had peaches 4 out of 5 days this week.
The J. Crew Style Guide came on Thursday and I already have a bunch of items that I need to add to my Wishlist. I like keeping my wishlist on Pinterest up to date so that when I have extra money I remember the items I need. There are so many amazing fall items this year. Oh, that’s right… because it’s the best season.
Last but certainly not least – ios 7 for iPhone came out this week. I of course downloaded it as soon as humanly possible on Wednesday and fell in love with it. As you see in the screenshot of my phone above, I’m loving the peach/pink background. That is one of the new options that already comes with the new update – so many pretty new backgrounds to choose from!
Talk to Me
- What is your favorite thing about ios 7?
- What’s your favorite fruit at the moment?
- Do you experiment with the crockpot? Any good recipes?
I’m anti-iPhone so I guess my favorite thing is I don’t have it? LOL 😉
I’m digging pineapple in smoothies right now. No idea why I didn’t start using that fruit until a month ago.
I’ve got TONS of crockpot recipes via cookbooks, but haven’t really used mine in a while. Need to get on that!
Happy Friday, girl! 😀
mmm, pineapple. I haven’t had that in a while. Are they in season?
