Friday Favorites

It’s Friday again! Woop Woop. This week has been pretty uneventful. On Wednesday, I started to feel a bit “off” at work. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized I had a fever of 101.5! I came home from work that day and napped until dinner, and then showered and went to bed early. When I woke up on Thursday morning, the fever was gone. Thank goodness! I still feel sick, but definitely not as bad as I did on Wednesday. I slept in a bit longer than usual on Thursday morning before work, which is why there was no blog post yesterday. It’s so unfortunate because on Monday I was so excited to use the Nikon and get some great content up for you this week. Hopefully next week isn’t as crazy. Let’s get into my Friday Favorites! Courtney Robertson’s book I didn’t Come Here to Make Friends is at the top of my favorites list this week. After weeks of talking about this book, I finally ordered it from Amazon and it arrived on Tuesday. I read the entire book in two days and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Courtney definitely doesn’t hold back and reveals many shocking secrets from her time on the show.

Another favorite this week was a cheese board and knife from UncommonGoods. I love how the board is magnetic and has a slot for the knife. Since I stack my cutting boards vertically in my cabinet, the magnetized knife won’t go missing! The board is made from walnut wood and the knife is stainless steel. Bryan was super excited to get this, because he loves collecting high quality knives (& not in the creepy Dexter way!). I can’t wait until Christmas time because they seriously have a gift for everyone. My final favorite from this week (I know the list is short – hey! I had a fever!) was food shopping at Trader Joes. I stopped on my way home from work on Monday and it made me super happy. I may be the only person on the planet that likes food shopping, but I really enjoy myself. Trader Joes is tied with Whole Foods as my favorite grocer. You can get such a variety of unique products at Trader Joes. Did you know that 80% of the products sold at Trader Joes are Trader Joes brand? They have the best vegetarian “sausage” pizza. I get it every time I’m there.
