I can safely say that I have already completed one of my goals for April and it’s only April 2nd.

I SIGNED UP FOR THE PHILADELPHIA HALF MARATHON!  Considering one of my goal’s for 2012 was to run 13.1 I figured this race would be the best.  I was one of the first 1,000 to sign up so I registered for $65 instead of $75.  I plan on documenting my training here on the blog right up until race day.  The farthest distance I’ve ever ran has been 4 miles.  Therefore, I do not expect training to be easy at all.  However, I am very excited about the months to come.

I’ve listed below some of the gear that I wish to get over the next few months as my training gets more intense.  What are your favorite items for training?

Wooo for your first half!!!! I have the Garmin 305 and I absolutely love that thing. I also have the tiger tail roller, but I’ve really not utilized it at all.

Why haven’t you used the Tiger Tail?
