the Monday blues. This pretty much sums it up:
I wanted to go for a run after work.
Once I got home I didn’t feel like it. I chose to go shopping, relax and make eggs and sweet potato fries for dinner.
I wanted to do some onDemand yoga to look like Miranda Kerr.
After dinner I didn’t feel like it.
Yes, it’s almost that time of the month and my body is SO tired. My body just isn’t having it right now.
I did, however feel like eating a cake pop from Starbucks.
I think sometimes when people read my blog and automatically think that I eat healthy all day everyday. Yes, I am more conscious than the average person, but I believe it is all about balance. I don’t restrict myself from having a sweet every once in a while, because I know that a cake pop isn’t going to make me gain 5 pounds. However, I don’t eat 5 cake pops in one sitting. Yet again– it’s all about balance.
I also Youtubed (yes I use that word) “mini dachshund puppy” and found this little gem.
Bryan said he never heard me laugh the way I did while watching this. I need one of these now. HINT HINT, Bryan I know you’re reading this. Maybe an early anniversary present?
I definitely felt like that today. I called out of work due to a killer headache and lack of sleep and am technically supposed to run today. I feel better, but the thought of changing and strapping on my running shoes is sooo unappealing. I did get some shopping/errands done, though! 🙂
yeh today, i have majooooor cramps, but ended up running 2 miles on the treadmill.
