It’s almost July, people! Although the working girl doesn’t really have a “summer”, I still take advantage of the time I do have by going to the pool, taking walks, and (hopefully) playing tennis soon. Bry and I have been wanting to play tennis, but when I get home from work it’s still pretty humid outside. I hope July and August brings some better tennis playing weather.
Let’s take a look at my June Goals Recap:
Fitness
- Run the Strides for Stroke 5K in under 30min. [Did not complete]. I did run the 5K, but I got sick halfway through from the heat and didn’t make it in under 30 minutes.
- Run at least 4 days a week with 1 day for a long run. [Did not complete]. No excuses here. It just didn’t happen.
- Attend all rooftop yoga sessions. [Did not complete]. I went to two out of four.
Personal
- Strengthen my nails & stop biting/picking them. [Did not complete]. Realization: I need to keep them painted 24/7!
- Drink at least 60 oz of water per day. [Did not complete]. This will be a goal all year.
- Transfer at least $200 of each paycheck into saving account. [Completed]. Yes, I put the money into my account, but only because I need it for a dental visit in July. After that, the money will be gone.
Blogging
- Develop a blogging calendar. [Did not complete]. Still working on this.
- Continue to pre-write posts the night before. [Completed]. This makes me feel 100% less stressed!
- Communicate with other bloggers for guest posting. [Completed/in the works].
Okay, so overall I didn’t do THAT good with my June goals. However, I still feel good about the amount of running I’ve done and the new motivation to start HIIT workouts in the beginning of July.
