About the Product:

The lovely people over at larabar sent me over so many samples to try out. They sent me: a huge box of Carrot Cake bars, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Chocolate Chip Brownie and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip.  Total Yum.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip:
I am not a huge peanut butter fan (except when paired with jelly of course), so I let my boyfriend try this one. He said it tasted like a peanut butter cookie.

Chocolate Chip Brownie:
This one tasted just like a brownie. The thing I love about Larabars over other bars is the fact that they are extremely soft! I am not really a fan of nutty bars with chunks. This bar was extremely chewy and creamy-like. I was def a fan of this one.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough:
This one was probably my favorite. I am a total sucker for cookie dough. I eat it straight from the bowl (don’t do this a lot though, b/c of the raw eggs). This bar tasted like a ball of cookie dough! It was a bit sweet though, so if you don’t like things really sweet, I’d pass on this one.

Carrot Cake:
This was my second favorite. It tastes just like a piece of carrot cake. It had hints of cinnamon and raisins. So delicious. Again, this bar like all the others was very soft and chewy! I even had this one cooked in the microwave for 10 seconds. YUMYUMYUM.

Pros:
Very chewy & soft
Wholesome ingredients
SHORT INGREDIENT LIST!
Tastes good in the microwave!
Cons:
Some can be quite sweet
$26.95 for a 16 pack!
About the Company:
The company was founded by a lady named Lara. She was on a hike in the Rocky Mountains when she thought of a brilliant idea: combine wholesome ingredients like fruits and nuts to crease a product that is healthy, tasty & convenient. So then, in that instant, in May 2000, LÄRABAR was born. The five initial Larabars were Cherry Pie, Apple Pie, Cashew Cookie, Banana Cookie, and Chocolate Coconut Chew. Her first batch of bars were all sealed by hand! To learn more about Larabar, go to http://www.larabar.com/story/founder

I love Larabars after a good workout, but they're a bit high in calories to eat as a snack. How does a blogger like yourself get free samples form companies such as Larabar? I've been hearing of a ton of bloggers getting free samples to review lately.

LOVE Larabars! I can't eat some of them because of a walnut allergy, but I absolutely love the PB&J, Cherry Pie and Cashew Cookie. The CC Cookie Dough is also amazing, though I'm not sure if the chocolate chips are vegan and that's key for me too.
