Good morning! Have you all been watching the Olympics? I think Bry is tired of me at this point, because all I’ve been watching and talking about has been the Olympics. From Jordyn Wieber’s disappointing performance that didn’t get her a spot for the US all-around to Ryan Lochte’s hotness, I’m happy Bry hasn’t totally gone crazy yet. There are many more events to watch, especially the Olympic Marathon on Sunday! I already have plans to be at home watching it! It’s normal.
As I was reading through blogs yesterday, I found this Olympic Survey from Running With Sass and figured I’d do it as well. Let’s get started.

What’s your favorite summer and winter athlete of all time?
Don’t have a favourite athlete in either winter or summer olympics. With the summer olympics I watch everything from volleyball to track and of course every sport that resolves around water (swimming, diving, rowing, canoe sprints).
It’s hard trying not to spend 10+ hours in front of the tv watching all the coverage.
Kimm, I know! I feel like the only thing I’ve been watching has been the Olympics, but I’m not complaining!
I don’t really have a favorite athlete, but I can definitely say snowboarding ROCKS for the winter sports. 😉 I wish I had gotten into it a lot sooner than 27 years of age, hah! My favorite summer sport to watch is the gymnastics, followed by soccer.
Shannon Miller & Kerri Strug were my favorites (from the Magnificent 7 team) but I have a feeling a few new ones will emerge for me in 2012. McCayla Maroney is incredible on the vault, just WOW. I’m in awe every time she competes.
Can’t wait for T&F events to start – so many athletes to watch!!
thanks for the shout out! <3
I so so so admire them all.
the tenacity
the focus
the drive

I PRY my child has as much motivation and FOCUS no matter the arena she chooses!
from knitting to gymnastics.
