This weekend, I did a HUGE closet revamp. Bryan was out for most of Saturday, so it was the perfect time to be productive and to get organized! First, I switched out my white plastic hangers with these chic, black velvet hangers {thanks Two Peas in a Prada for the recommendation}. Then, I put all of my summer clothes away and pulled out all of my fall/winter gear. As it happens every fall, I soon realized that I barely have any sweaters. I really don’t know what happens to them year to year, but I’m constantly buying new ones. It’s basically a requirement. Please tell me you guys agree.
Below are six chunky fall sweaters that are on my radar right now. Comment below and share your favorites!
1. H&M Knit Sweater: Who knew that H&M had such cute sweaters?! I’ll be honest. I don’t know the last time I stepped foot in an H&M, because I’ve never really had great luck there. Every time I find something worth buying, either the sizing is weird or the quality is crappy. I haven’t tried this one on in stores yet, but it’s really inexpensive! If it works out, I plan to get it in a few colors.
2. L.L. Bean Fisherman Tunic Sweater: L.L. Bean products last forever, so I can’t wait to get my hands on this gorgeous tunic. The reviews online are positive, and the sweater looks like it’s really well made. Although it’s a bit expensive, it’s such a classic piece that I know I’ll have in my closet for many, many years.
3. Gap Mix Knit Mock-neck Sweater: I’m usually not big on color. {Not a surprise if you know me in real life}. If you looked in my closet, you’ll see lots of cream, black and gray. However, when I saw this blue sweater on the Gap website, it caught my eye. I think it will look great paired with dark denim, a cream colored scarf, and brown leather boots. It’s just the right amount of color for me.
4. Express Lace-Up Sweater: OMG, you guys. I saw this sweater on the front of an Express mailer I received a month or so ago and fell in love. The website says it’s backordered until December, but I’m hoping my local store has it in stock. The lace up front is really unique, and will be perfect for date night!
5. Free People “She’s All That” Sweater: Free People always has the cutest sweaters. Am I right?! I saw this one in an Instagram photo and added it to my wishlist right away. It’s basically me in sweater form. Ha! I love that it’s a bit oversized and has a loose turtleneck. It looks super cozy and needs to get in my closet ASAP.
6. Caslon Drop Shoulder Cardigan: Every girl needs a long, black cardigan. You can throw it over any outfit and it instantly elevates your look. When I looked through my closet, I realized that I don’t own one!
Ok, I’m off to a doctor’s appointment this morning, then into the office.
Check in later this week for a Lately post!
