My Saturday Workout

I wasn’t planning on going over to the gym yesterday.  Especially after a long day of bikini shopping, I was totally okay with continuing to lay on the couch watching Dr. 90210.  Then the internet dropped causing Dr. 90210 on Netflix to drop as well.  What better thing to do than head to the gym and let Bry reset the internet upon returning home?  I’m such a great girlfriend sometimes.

I walked over to the gym around 6:15 and started my workout with some light running on the treadmill.
The plan: run each mile non-stop but rest for a few seconds after completing each mile

  • Mile 1 @ 10:00 min pace
  • Mile 2 @ 9:40 min pace
  • Mile 3 @ 9:22 min pace

After what seemed like forever on the treadmill, I did some weight training focusing on my arms.
The 3 sets of 10 reps each

  • Dumbbell over head press  10lb each (total 20lb)
  • Front lat raises  5lb each (total 10lb)
  • Dumbbell bicep curls  10lb each (total 20lb)
  • Lat pull down  50lb
  • Triceps push down  30 lb
  • Seated row  50lb
