Happy Thanksgiving! I can’t believe the holidays have arrived. It feels like just yesterday I was planning my wedding and getting ready for summer. Thanksgiving is sometimes a holiday that is overlooked and under appreciated. Some people can’t wait for Thanksgiving to be over because then it’s time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping. However, it’s so important to be thankful for what you have this Thanksgiving instead of focusing on what you don’t.
First, thank you for reading this little ol’ blog. When I started writing Simply Nicole in 2009, I never anticipated that it would be still functioning today, let alone have actual readers. I’m so thankful for each comment, tweet and email I receive from you all and can’t wait to see what 2015 brings.
Second, thank you to my husband for always being by my side and supporting me in every way possible. You’ve become some what of my blogging assistant and I don’t know where I’d be without your help taking photos, proofing my posts and reminding me to get my posts up in a timely manner.
Ahh! Look how tiny he was!
Third, thank you to my little man, Pete. You brighten up my days and make me laugh more than you understand. I love cuddling with you and taking you for walks, even when you’d rather just lie in the grass. You’re everything I’ve ever hoped for and I can’t wait to spend many, many, many more years with you.
Fourth, thank you to my friends and family for your support as well. Whether it’s listening to me complain about a bad day, helping me with a party, or just keeping me company over wine or coffee, I’m so very grateful for each and every one of you.
I hope everyone has an amazing Thanksgiving. Remember to unplug today and enjoy your time with family and friends.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Erin!
