Today is our two year wedding anniversary! Since we’re saving for a house, we decided not to buy each other gifts this year. However, Bryan knew that I’d be a bit bummed if we just stayed home on our anniversary, so he surprised me last night and told me that tonight we’re going to a pretty fancy sushi restaurant in Center City, Philly. SO EXCITED!
We love spending money on experiences – something we’ll remember for years. For instance, we’d prefer to take a vacation over buying a brand new TV. There’s nothing wrong with a new TV, we just tend to spend our money elsewhere. Research actually shows people who spend money on experiences are generally happier than those who buy material objects, and feel as though the money was better spent. I completely agree.
Instead of writing a super sappy post today {no one wants to read that!}, I decided to highlight a few of the great experiences Bryan and I had this past year.
