Flintstones Vitamins vs. One a Day Vitacraves

I’m moving up in the world.  I finally finished my huge bottle of Flintstones gummies, so I wanted to try something different.  I honestly didn’t see any improvement on my health while taking the Flintstones and I think it may be due to the fact they are meant for little children.  While out shopping on Saturday, I picked up the One a Day Vitacraves + Immunity Support.  I placed them side by side to note any differences and was quite surprised.  *Note the amounts below are for a serving size of 2 vitamins for both brands.

Flintstones, One-a-Day

I am glad that I’ll be now taking vitamins that are for adults and apparently much more potent in many essential vitamins.  For example, the One a Day vitamins have double the amount of Vitamin A, B6, Biotin, Zinc, and Folic Acid; more than double in Vitamin C, E, and Iodine.  The One-a-Day vitamins are also a lot tastier than the Flintstones vitamins.  They aren’t are hard to chew and the flavors are better!

I ran out of the Flintstones vitamins just in time actually.  I got blood work done on Friday, which wasn’t exactly a good start to a weekend, but I needed to make sure that my thyroid and b12 levels were okay.  I may actually have to pick up a separate bottle of just B12 if my levels are continuing to drop.  I’ll be getting the results back from the blood work this week sometime.

What vitamins do you take daily?
Do you have to take a specific dosage of a vitamin because your levels are below normal?

Three years ago my doctor told me that I was 5000 mag low on vitamin b12 and I take the Jamension brand of vitamin b12 that is 5000 mcg and it is not in gummy form. The vitamin that I take makes my doctor super happy and now I only need a blood test once every 2 years.
