Today’s a short day at work for me, but afterward I have to go back to the dentist and get my bonding re-done on my front tooth. This isn’t something I wanted to do right before a holiday, but my dentist’s schedule was booked through the rest of December. For those of you who read this post, you know that I recently had some dental work done. Let’s just say, the dentist did a really crappy job. Tonight I’ll be seeing the dentist I normally have. Fingers crossed!

The Kitchn shared 5 things to make sure you have on hand before you go to the grocery store this Thanksgiving. I was just telling Bryan earlier this week that I feel like I go to the same stores at least 2-3 times a week because I keep forgetting something. This list reminds you to pick up those items you probably missed (i.e. leftover containers!).
Natalie from Thoughts With Natalie posted this delicious vegetable soup. It’s completely vegetarian and made with veggie stock, so I can’t wait to try making it. It’s difficult for me to find vegetarian-friendly soups when I order out, so I typically have to make them myself. Thanks for sharing, Natalie. This will most likely be a staple recipe in my kitchen.
This isn’t a new post, but I just came across it this week. Serena from Pretty Fluffy outlined 11 cleaning tips every dog owner must know. She mentions some amazing products that I’ll have to check out and review for you all. Pete doesn’t really shed, but I’m sure there’s a lot more cleaning that could be done. By the way, Pretty Fluffy is such a gorgeous, well-written blog. If you’re a pet owner, I highly recommend checking it out.
Cassie from Hi Sugarplum shared super simple Advent calendars. I don’t have kids, so doing an Advent calendar isn’t a tradition in my home, but I’m definitely pinning this post for when I do have little ones. DIY Advent calendars are all over Pinterest right now, but this version she created titled “Super Simple Advent Calendar” really is super easy. I’m talking, “Get this done in less than 15 minutes” easy.

I love that advent calendar idea! I make a wall one for Josh to have a present to unwrap every day. It’s so fun!
