Weekend Recap (1/18- 1/19)

Happy Monday, readers!  I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.  My weekend was relaxing and productive.  Let’s take a look at some pics from the weekend.

On Saturday, I spent the morning at Barnes and Noble.  I went so I could focus on our wedding programs, but ended up people watching as well.  People watching at Barnes and Noble is the best.  On Saturday I saw a family with a little toddler that was dressed up as Batman.  Pretty fantastic, if you ask me.

After I was done there, I met Bryan at IKEA.  We walked around for a bit and I got pricing on some reception décor items I looked at online.  I thought I would possibly get a better deal at Home Goods on some things, so I waited to make any purchases.

The rest of the day was spent lounging on the couch, watching movies, and relaxing.

On Sunday, I met Bryan’s sister at the mall.  We went so I could look for wedding shoes.  We looked everywhere.  I even went into Nordstrom twice.  These pumps from J. Crew were a front runner for a while.  But after much consideration, I walked out of the store empty handed. 

I did however find my shoes at Nordstrom on my second visit over there!  They are super comfy and go with the overall color theme of our wedding.  I’m keeping them hush hush for now, so you won’t see pictures of them on the blog for a while.  Don’t worry, they are cute .

I also went to the mall yesterday so I could use the birthday gift card that Tory Burch sent me.  If you are on their mailing list, you get a free gift card the month of your birthday.  Go sign up now, folks!  I used my gift card on this adorable card case.  I’d been needing one badly, because when I use my smaller bags, I hate carrying around my large continental wallet.  This one works perfectly!
