Weekend Recap (12/14- 12/15)

Good morning, readers.  I haven’t mentioned this on the blog I don’t think, but at the end of August I left my PR job at my former agency.  Over the past few months I’ve been doing a lot of freelance writing and social media work. 

Today is actually my first day back in the office – this time as a content marketing specialist.  I’m beyond excited and just wanted to share this good news with you all.  My blog will continue its normal programming, so no worries there. 

Anyway, if you follow me on Instagram and Twitter you know that this past Saturday was my birthday!  We actually had a really nasty snow/sleet storm on my birthday so for the most part it was a relaxing day inside. 

Bryan and I had an appointment with our hotel for our wedding night and then went to breakfast at IHOP.  We also ventured out to the mall later in the night, but the majority of the day was spent watching Scandal and napping. 

I was super excited because Bryan bought me this necklace from Anna Beck I had been eyeing for about a month now.  It’s a reversible piece that can be gold or silver!  That means I’ll be wearing this every single day.  No excuse!

On Sunday, we went back to our college alma mater – West Chester University!  Our friend was graduating and we wanted to be there to support him.  It was so nice to be back on campus, because it’s been way too long!  I don’t think I walked those streets since I went to school there.
