Good morning! It’s Monday again. How come the weekdays go by so slowly but the weekends just fly by? Oh, we will never know! Anyway… this weekend was pretty festive and I love weekend like those. Here’s what I did.
On Saturday morning, I had to run a few errands so I put on my new sweater that Bryan bought me for my birthday! I mentioned it about a thousand times on the blog already, but if you’re interested, you can purchase it from Express here: http://bit.ly/1b980AR. It’s on sale right now 50% off at $29.95. You can’t beat that price!
First stop was the post office. I had to return an old iPhone cover that fit only my old iPhone 4. I was super happy that the company I mentioned in my friday post was able to send me an iPhone 5s cover in exchange for the old one. I love amazing customer service.
After that was done, I had to run over to the Apple store in the mall so I could get a replacement phone. For whatever reason, the home button on my BRAND NEW iPhone 5s decided to start being wonky on Friday night. It was making a weird clicking sound like it was stuck or something. The great thing is that Apple replaced it right away and just gave me a new phone. WIN!
Later on in the day, I ran some boring errands like grocery shopping so I changed out of my cute sweater and put on my college hoodie .
That was my Saturday. Very busy.
On Sunday morning, Leslee and her bf came over to our place for a little holiday brunch. We exchanged presents and made homemade Belgium waffles and bacon. I of course made my vegetarian bacon. The one I LOVE LOVE LOVE is by Morning Star. It’s this one:
Overall it was a really great morning! We enjoyed delicious food and just relaxed for a while. I turned on our Christmas tree lights and made our apartment even more festive.
Leslee and her bf bought me this adorable dachshund ornament to go with our other gift. Isn’t it so cute? It’s by far one of my favorite ornaments. Bryan and I made it a tradition to get a new ornament every year and we didn’t pick one up this year. So now we have one! Exciting!
After brunch was over, Bryan and I went to visit his parents for dinner and birthday cake for Bryan’s brother in law. It was delicious! But now I am exhausted and need to get to bed. (It’s actually Sunday night as I’m writing this ). Talk to you all in my next post. I have an interesting post coming up this week. More on that later.
