Good morning, readers. Monday is here again. Today actually won’t be too bad, because I am leaving work at 2PM so I can meet Bryan at the Marriage Office! We’re picking up our marriage certificate today!
I have a lot to get done this\ morning so here are some scenes from my weekend.
On Friday night, I had a lot of errands to run. I stopped at Pottery Barn to return a few items, Crate and Barrel to buy a new kitchen crock, and Target to pick up thank you cards. By the time I got home on Friday night it was already almost 8PM.
Since I didn’t feel like putting together a huge dinner and because I ate a late lunch, I simply melted and ate some Swiss cheese. I used the fondue cheese from the brand Emmi. I really enjoyed it because the cheese melted so easily. I don’t even own a fondue pot. My non-stick soup pot worked just fine.
On Saturday, Bryan and I went to visit his parents. We had a delicious breakfast and then uploaded baby photos of Bryan to our external hard drive. We needed a few baby pictures to be used as reception décor for the wedding.
I of course, had to stop for Dunkin coffee on our way to Bryan’s parents’ house. Starting my weekend without coffee can be bad. I actually don’t drink coffee during the work week, and if I do it’s only a cup or two. I used to drink coffee every day, but I started to get major migraines, so now I only drink it on the weekends if I can.
Later on Saturday night, we caught up on American Idol. I can’t believe people watch that show live! There are so many commercials and everything is drawn out. We DVR it so we can marathon it on the weekends and just forward through all the boring parts.
I have a few favorites from this season including Jena, Caleb and Sam. Sam definitely looks like my old roommate’s younger brother.
Aside from relaxing on Saturday, I didn’t do anything too interesting.
On Sunday, Bryan and I had a lot of wedding things to do. We went shopping at Target and picked up a bunch of wedding essentials: poster board and Post-Its to make our seating chart, a rough tote to hold all of our wedding décor, bags for gifts, and a bunch of other random things. When we got home, Bryan and I decided on alcohol types, and I wrapped my bridesmaids’ presents and started mapping out the seating chart.
Afterwards, I made a quick pasta dinner with shrimp for me and chicken for Bryan.
After dinner, we watched The Lovely Bones movie and went to bed.
TALK TO ME
- What did you do this weekend?
- What’s your favorite quick and easy dinner?
- Any fun plans for this week?
I know what you mean, I love when I can fast forward through commercials haha when I watch a show and can’t do that, I go a little crazy because I have no patience. No plans for this week, just a little studying here and there, and hoping for the weekend already!
