This weekend was very holiday-filled; which is never a bad thing in my book. Let me recap you the weekend that I had.
Friday: I bought that car I told you about. I chose the 2012 Honda Civic LX. It’s so pretty. I almost can’t believe that it’s mine. I almost had a heart attack Sunday night when a car carrying a wooden dresser accidentally dropped the dresser 5 feet from my car.

Saturday: Spent the better part of the day lounging on the couch catching up on “2 and a Half Men.” After making dinner (which was a Frozen California Pizza Kitchen pizza… not the healthiest option), we drove to Reading to see the North Pole exploded Koziar’s Christmas Village. You’ve already seen enough photos of that.
Sunday: Sunday was pretty great as well. The whole family headed to the tree farm to cut down our Christmas tree. Yes, I’m aware that sounds very “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” I didn’t do much sawing down. I made sure adequate photos were taken with my low-quality iPhone camera.

We spent about 20 minutes walking around the fields in search for the most appropriately shaped tree: not too fat, not too thin. We eventually found the right one. That’s when the work really began. I had to really get some good angles. Bry just had to do the sawing.

One of my favorite parts was watching the men from the tree farm put the tree into the little netting contraption. Very high tech, I tell ya!

Until next year kids!

Does your family cut down your own tree? Or do you just buy one from a local store?
