Welcome to the new NicoleRaudonis.com, a blog about wellness, motherhood, food, and life. It’s a place designed to foster community, spark joy, and make you think, “Yes! I can relate!”
I’ve been blogging and creating content online for over two decades — telling my story and perspective, sharing tips and inspiration, and partnering with brands to tell their stories along the way.
In the late 90s/early 2000s, I started online journaling where I poured my heart and soul onto the screen for my eyes only. Most were password protected so my little sister couldn’t find it and read. This is where my love for writing began.
I created this blog in my college bedroom in 2009 as a new creative outlet for myself. When Blogger.com prompted me to name my site, I quickly typed “Simply Nicole” without much thought or strategy. Little did I know that the name would stick with me through my 20s and half of my 30s, and define my life in many ways.
When I had my daughter in 2018, I put blogging on the back burner. I posted a few times a year (mainly for paid sponsorships, if I’m being honest). I felt very disconnected from my blog as social media became the focal point for everyone. My blog felt like it wasn’t a reflection of me any longer. I outgrew many of the topics that I once felt passionate about, the name Simply Nicole felt foreign, and I felt stressed to keep my site afloat. I had to make the decision to either quit writing all together or figure out how to reignite the passion I once had.
I bought the URL nicoleraudonis.com on a random day this fall. A rebrand, redesign, and saying goodbye to the name Simply Nicole was necessary. That’s my personality. When I decide I’m going to do something, I just do it — jumping in headfirst and never looking back.
Whether you’ve been following since the beginning or are a newer reader… thank you for being here. I’m excited for this new chapter. So here we go.
