Good morning everyone. Yes, I am still alive and yes, I apologize for going a whole week without posting. Let me recap you on my crazy week.
Monday-Thursday: Nothing too exciting happened. The only thing I remember doing was packing at any chance I had.
Then Thursday night happened.
Thursday night around 9pm, I wasn’t feeling too great so I decided to head up to bed. I figured it was probably the hair dye from the salon a few hours before that was making me feel nauseous.
Around 12am, I figured it was a stomach virus. 1am hits and I am throwing up. GREAT. As if a stomach ache wasn’t enough, now I can’t stop throwing up. 1:30am rolls around and I am still throwing up. Everything starts getting hazy. My first thought was, “I am just so tired that I can’t see straight.” I figure out once I stand up that unfortunately my lack of sleep is not the case. I panic, try to hold on to the sink, and at least walk toward the bedroom. I can’t see anything, and start yelling, “BRY! BRY!” Down I went. Thankfully, our end tables in Bry’s parent’s house are made from plastic, so the worst that happened was I hit my face on plastic as opposed to wood. Next thing I know, my head is down in a trash can and I’m sitting on the bedroom floor throwing up again with both of Bry’s parents and Bry behind me. Obviously, I fainted and hit my head. Bry was pretty worried, because when I woke up, I didn’t know where I was. All I kept thinking when I was trying to get to the bedroom was, “Please do not fall down the steps. Please do not fall down the steps.” Around 3:30am, I was able to fall asleep.
It was a rough night.
Friday: I spent the majority of the day and afternoon in bed sleeping and trying to regain enough energy to eat some toast and dry cereal. At night, I spiked a 100 degree fever. GREAT.
Saturday: The fever broke and snow hit. We also had to move. Moving day was interesting and very stressful, but we had a lot of help with furniture and unloading.
Sunday: Still unpacking. We took a break mid-day to head over to Ikea and pick up some needed things.
So, I guess this brings us to today. It’s Monday. Bry left for work super early in order to beat traffic and I am loving our new king size bed. I can sleep however I want and don’t have to worry about smacking Bry in the face in the middle of the night.
I hope you all understand why I took a week hiatus from this here ol’ blog. Things have been so crazy, I can’t even think straight.
Normal posting will begin tomorrow… I promise.
