About the Product:

I was recently sent over a free product coupon from Amy’s Kitchen.  I was super excited because I’ve only have one product from the company in the past, and was interested in trying out their pizzas.  I purchased the Margherita Pizza from Whole Foods.  It’s handstretched crust is thinner than their usual crust, with organic tomato sauce and topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, parmesan, basil. Extremely fresh tasting, although frozen.

I would absolutely buy this pizza again. I am also very interested in trying out their other products: their soups for instance! Have any of you tried any of their soups? If so, what did you think? Please comment below.

PROS:
Fresh and organic ingredients
Savory taste
Extremely soft crust
The basil didn’t burn!
Soy free, tree nut free & kosher
Big enough to split between two people
Reasonably priced

CONS:

Possibly due to condensation, the sauce was a bit watery

About the Company:

Amy’s started by using their own house and barn as their headquarters. When they started, frozen meals for vegetarians were scarce.  The number of vegetarians had begun to increase dramatically. Their first product was a vegetable pot pie, and was an instant success. Since then, the company has created over 88 frozen meals, including pizzas, pot pies, pocket sandwiches, entrees, snacks and whole meals. In 1999, they introduced a grocery line that includes canned soups, beans and chilli, along with pasta sauces and salsas. Their total commitment to quality has made them stand out above other organic food companies.
