Anniversary Recap.

If you read my most recent post, my 2 year anniversary with Bryan was yesterday.  I didn’t know where we were going until we pulled up to the restaurant. Well, technically I guessed where we were going a week ago, but Bry wouldn’t let me know whether I was right or wrong.  We headed down to the Water Works Restaurant in Philadelphia around 6, and had an amazing dinner.  I didn’t take any pictures of the food, because I told Bry that it was a blogging-free evening.  But, that didn’t stop the thousands of photos we took of us before leaving.

Dress: Macy's a few years ago; Shoes: Nine West

The food was amazing at Water Works.  We had red wine to go along with our dinners.  We were going to just order a bottle, but we figured it wasn’t a great idea because we still had to drive the hour back home.  For our entrees Bry ordered the filet, while I opted for the Chilean sea bass.  OMG.  It was in a sweet peppery sauce that could not compare to anything I’ve ever tried in my life.   Once we finished our dinner, we chose to skip dessert at the restaurant.  After looking at the dessert menu at the restaurant, we decided that we would grab dessert at a local diner near our house.   Although I thought the desserts looked amazing, Bry isn’t a fan of anything with custard or cheesecake.

On the way back to the car, we took a nice walk around Kelly Drive to look at the river and boat house row.  Very romantic, I’d have to say!  It was chilly out though, so we hurried back to the car pretty quickly.  I did have on my new Calvin Klein pea-coat that I absolutely love!

One word to describe the entire day is: perfect.

thanks for checking out my blog Liz!

You look so pretty! I’ve never been to the waterworks restaurant, though we have considered going there on several occasions. It definitely sounds like the perfect way to celebrate your anniversary!

Aw thanks Tara! WaterWorks is amazing. I can’t wait to go again for brunch maybe. It’s a gorgeous building with amazing views of the water and boat house row.

I love your dress! It looks great on you! Glad you had a wonderful dinner. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Thanks Krissie. It’s so old actually. I’ve only worn it 2x. Enjoy your weekend too. So crappy out right now.
