march editors note

Hi hi. Happy March. I thought an Editor’s Note would be a fun new series on the blog, because I personally love reading these on other sites. So here on this rainy and cold Saturday, I’m sitting at my computer writing this post. I have a lot of fun things on the agenda this month.

First, I’ll be refreshing my home office, adding a few new pieces to make the room cozier and more decorated (including curtains and this metal martini table). I’ve been pinning inspiration pics for months and feel like I have a good idea on what I want the space to look and feel like. Last week, I bought flowers for my desk and every time I opened my office door for work, they made me smile. Truth be told, I never gave this room much love and it slowly ended up being half storage half home office. Not exactly a room to foster creativity and productivity. That’s changing this month.

I’ve also been busy with planning a new product launch for my brand Pursue Leisure. I haven’t talked about Pursue Leisure much, if at all actually, here on the blog. We sell high quality loungewear and lifestyle essentials designed to elevate your everyday. I’m waiting for samples to arrive, because we have sweatshorts coming out in the spring as well as *hopefully* a sweatshirt.

MARCH IS FOR:

☆ bouquets of “just because” flowers
☆ longer days
☆ giving yourself time to rest
☆ solo dates to coffee shops and bookstores
☆ reading with a blanket on the porch
☆ the song “la vie en rose”
☆ hot showers and being in bed by 9pm
☆ moving your body however feels good to you

CURRENTLY LOVING
