My Fall 2018 Wishlist

I love the change of seasons, because it gives me an opportunity to assess the clothes and accessories I have, donate what I don’t love anymore, and purchase a few new pieces. As you’ll see below, this year I’ve got my eye mainly on coats and sweaters. These items in my closet are really worn, so I could really use a refresh. Alright let’s get into it. Here’s my fall 2018 wishlist.

1. Kenneth Coat Double Face Coat: Gah. Could this piece get any better? I’m mentioning it first, because it’s at the tippy top of my wishlist. This along with the J.Crew Cocoon Coat below. I love that it’s a cross between a coat and a sweater, and that it’s the perfect weight for fall in Pennsylvania.

2. Leith Ribbed Cocoon Sweater: Most of the clothes in my closet are black, gray, or cream, so this rust-colored cardigan will definitely be a good addition. It’s perfect for fall and winter. A lot of bloggers raved about this sweater during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and with good reason. It’s incredibly soft and looks great dressed up or down. This piece will get a lot of wear all season long.

3. J.Crew Cocoon Coat: The winter coat I have is at least 6-7 years old and it has seen better days. This cocoon coat from J.Crew is a best-seller and I absolutely love it. It comes in a bunch of colors, but the black is timeless and will match everything.

4. Patagonia Better Sweater 1/4 Zip: I should probably retire the North Face I wore in college. This Patagonia fleece is a bit more “adult-looking” and won’t make me look like a college student. You feel me? I love the cream color, but they also have it in navy, black, white and light purple.

5. Make + Model Boyfriend Lounge Pants: When I’m at home, I live in lounge wear. I’m not the kind of girl who rocks jeans if I don’t absolutely have to. I’ve made it a point to wear nicer stuff at home, which means no more ripped up t-shirts and paint-splattered sweats. Nice loungewear makes me feel good, which is everything when you’re breastfeeding and wearing spit-up on most days.

6. Ralph Lauren Margarite Riding Boots: Bryan bought me a pair of Ralph Lauren riding boots for our first Christmas together. I wore them up until last year, when I realized that they were slowly falling apart. They lasted me 10 years! I love these Margarite boots that look almost identical to my current pair. I have to try them on, so I don’t know for sure, but they look great in the photos.

7. Cole Haan Talia Skimmer Flat: I wear flats at work on most days because I’d rather be comfortable than wear heels. I bought a pair of black Cole Haan flats after returning from maternity leave and they are holding up great. I need a nude pair, and these Talia flats are absolutely adorable. I love the bow accent and the pointy toe. Super flattering!

8. Hydro Flask 32oz Bottle: I absolutely love my Yeti rambler but since it has a straw, I’m not really able to just throw it in my bag and go. I keep it at home. I’ve been looking for a portable water bottle for a few months now and I’m loving this white one from Hydro Flask. It works just like the Yeti in that it keeps drinks cold for HOURS.
