Good morning, readers. I’m so glad that this week is almost over. The weather has been absolutely beautiful this week and I’m looking forward to this weekend. It’s going to be a busy weekend for me, because I have a work event on Saturday morning and I have to read through some information for my new job for Monday.
I don’t care to talk about work on my blog, which is why I didn’t mention it until now, but today is my last day at my current job. (Technically I’m working at an event on Sat. but today’s my last day in the office). My new job is at a full-service communication agency where I’ll be a PR account manager. I’m really looking forward to starting and learning a lot!
Let’s get started with my Friday Favorites!
I talked about the lesson I learned this past week on my video series on the Fitfluential blog. I’m really enjoying making these weekly recap videos. It puts things into perspective and allows me to get a grasp on what I’ve learned each week.
My cousin posted this photo on Instagram this week. From left (Me, my sister, my cousin). It’s so funny how much we haven’t changed in all of these years. I’m also really digging my sunflower dress.
My going away party. On Thursday night, my amazing friends at work through me a going away happy hour at our favorite spot. There wasn’t just lots of great friends and yummy margaritas… there were so many balloons scattered around the bar, a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, a cookie cake, and a gorgeous necklace and gift card from Charming Charlie. *I know you ladies are probably reading this right now… thank you so much!
On Wednesday night, I had my friends from work over at my house for girls night. We had wine, cheese, grapes, pita chips, hummus, salad, pasta, and Ashley’s famous cake balls. My friend Ashley is an amazing baker! You should go and check out her website, Beachy Cakes! They are absolutely delicious!
These nail polishes were a favorite of mine from this week. The glitter polish on the left is China Glaze “Luxe and Lush” and was borrowed from a friend. The middle is my favorite top coat, Essie “To Dry For.” On the end is Essie “Grow Stronger.” I had fun this week and did a party-nail or whatever you want to call it. In case you don’t know what a party-nail is… it’s when you paint just one finger on each hand a different color than the rest. I painted all of my nails the Essie “Grow Stronger” and then on my ring fingers I painted them with the China Glaze glitter polish. It added a touch of fun for my last week at work.
