Good morning! Can you believe it’s finally Friday!? This week went by pretty quickly, because it feels like the Runner’s World Half Festival was just yesterday! This weekend has some great things planned, so I can’t wait until the work day is over and the real fun begins!
Let’s take a look at my Friday Favorites for this week!
My first run since the weekend in my new Altras this morning – definitely something I’ll need to get used to. I’ll be switching between the zero drops and my Nike’s in order to get used to the Altras. A full review on my initial thoughts will be up next week.
Getting to come into work a little later this morning meant that I had the extra time to get a short run in at the gym. Instead of watching the news from my couch, I got to watch it from the treadmill. It’s a good change.
I love having fresh flowers in my house. I picked up these hydrangeas at Whole Foods on Sunday and they are still alive and beautiful! I can’t wait to get more of these very soon.
LMAO. This hilarious dog Halloween costume. I’m not even sure where I found this photo, but it made me laugh. It looks like there are two dogs, but really its just the dog in the front. Halloween is coming up!

Hi Nicole! It’s hard to believe RW was a week ago. What an amazing weekend! After the half I have this morning I’m going to try the Altras. Slowly transitioning into zero drop. I’m looking forward to seeing how I like them.

My apartment building is having a costume contest for the dogs in the building. I think it’s such a cute idea, but my dogs are stubborn and would never go for letting me dress them up. I’ve thought about it though! 🙂

Aw I love fresh flowers too, they brighten up any room. I tell josh when we have a house I always want there to be fresh flowers on the kitchen table. My favorite are peonies.
I love peonies! But they never seem to last that long. I’ve had the hydrangeas since last Sunday and they still look pretty!
