Friday Favorites

Good morning!  Did your area get snow last night?  We got over 6 inches for sure.  It’s insane out there.  If you are traveling around today, be safe!

Now onto my Friday Favorites for this week.  With the holiday on Wednesday, it seemed like this week was actually two weeks because it broke the week in half.  However, I am more than happy that it’s finally Friday!

I woke up on Monday with a sore throat so I made sure to pick up a juice from Starbucks on my way to work.  I don’t like taking any chances when it comes to being sick.  I probably should start juicing anyway more frequently, but that’s another post.  I really enjoyed this juice and would definitely get it again.  It’s not as good as Suja in my opinion, but a good second choice.

Ah!  I can’t believe I didn’t blog about my experience with UPS this week.  Okay, I’ll keep this short.  I was supposed to receive a package on Tuesday and yes it arrived.  HOWEVER.. the box was opened and my item was stolen!  Let’s just say I was not a happy camper.  The company was so amazing and sent me out a new one, no questions asked!

I’d been waiting to get this hair product in for so long and when I found out that it was stolen, I was furious.  But now that it’s finally in my possession, I am loving it!  It’s the Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray.  You spray it in your roots on damp hair and blow dry.  I teased my hair before heading to bed as well.  So simple and it lives up to its purpose.  My hair is normally very thin and flat, but with this product I have body again!  I even slept on it last night and woke up this morning with it still voluminous.  Go buy it now.  You won’t regret it.

Another favorite this week was making a first round of edits to our wedding ceremony!  I can’t believe this but my wedding is in four months.  FOUR MONTHS!  Where the heck did the time go.  There is a lot to still do, but I like checking off items from my to-do list whenever I have some spare time.  The ceremony is no where near done, but I’m glad I got to make some initial edits for my officiant.

This year on New Year’s Eve, Bryan and I just relaxed inside.  We laid on the couch and watched the many NYE shows on TV.  Maybe one year we will go to New York City and stand outside for hours, but not until NYE is over 50 degrees!  It was way too cold to be outside on Tuesday night.

We celebrated NYE in QC city. It was great. Love it there…even in the cold temperatures!

Happy New Year!

Evolution juices are so yummy!!! We got a bunch of snow too and my kids have a snow day. Can’t wait to take them out to go sledding!

I love the Green Machine by Naked. SO SO SO good!! I didn’t do anything for NYE haha I went to bed early because I am not a night owl at all. Hmmm I might have to look into getting that product. The longer my hair gets the heavier it gets, so it just hangs and has no volume. Have a great weekend 🙂

At 3:00 on NYE, my boyfriend suggested we go into NYC. Doing it spur of the moment is pretty much the only way I’d agree to stand in Times Square on NYE, so I looked into it. You have to be there by 3:00! That is way too long to stand outside and not be able to pee haha. The other option is to pay $375 per person to do Applebee’s NYE party and have a reserved spot in Times Square. Sooooo we went out to dinner and then spent the rest of the night on the couch watching a movie and the ball drop. Happy New Year! Happy Friday!
