Happy Friday, my friends! Thankfully this week went by somewhat quickly and the weekend is almost here. Tomorrow is our one year wedding anniversary and we have a few things planned. We’re going to a wine festival in the afternoon and dinner in Center City Philly at night. It’s been awhile since we had the opportunity to go out to dinner with just the two of us, so I’m looking forward to getting dressed up and spending time together.
Let’s get into my Friday Favorites.
1. Morning Yoga.
A few days this week, I spent my mornings doing a bit of yoga before rushing to get ready for work. It is so nice to start my days off with a bit of stretching and meditation. I’m actually planning on photographing my morning routine this weekend and getting a post up sometime next week. There’s been a few things I’ve been doing in the mornings that make a huge impact on my mood and energy throughout the rest of my day. I can’t wait to share it with you!
2. My Home Office.
Oh, the home office saga. I feel like it will never be done, however after last weekend it’s a bit closer to completion. Bryan helped me hang my Ikea Lack shelf and I had a blast decorating it. There’s a few items that I’d still like to purchase including a foot pouf, bulletin board, and office supplies. Pinterest and ApartmentTherapy have been great places to find inspiration for this room.
3. A Healing Pup.
As many of your know, Pete got fixed last Friday. We spent the majority of last weekend home with him to make sure he was healing okay. I’m happy to say that he’s doing great and is almost used to his donut. Since he’s so small, we decided to get him an inflatable ring thing instead of a large cone. This is what I’m talking about.
4. Vanilla Chex.
If you know me, I am crazy for sugary cereals. I eat them for breakfast, snack and even dinner sometimes. Since I’m doing the gluten free and dairy free thing for a while, I’ve had to give up a lot of my favorite cereals and try cereals that work within my diet – one of those being Vanilla Chex! I can’t believe I never thought about buying these before, but I’ll certainly be keeping these around even when I go back to my normal diet. They are super yummy and don’t taste artificial at all. I love them with vanilla almond milk. I also really enjoy the Apple Cinnamon Chex, so if vanilla isn’t your thing I recommend trying that version.
Thanks so much for reading my post today!
