Inside my gym bag

When I go to the gym after work, I like getting dressed at work so I won’t sit around when I get home.  I realized that when I come home from work and still have to get changed, take off my makeup, and put on my sneakers, somehow I also end up checking my emails, updating Facebook, and watching TV.

Thus, I like getting ready at work so I can just go right to the gym.  Here’s what I pack.

what to pack for the gym

  1. my Nike gym bag.  I’ve had this thing forever.  I actually think it might be my sister’s bag from high school.  Either way, it’s big enough to fit all of my clothes and sneakers, but not too big that it’s a hassle to carry around.
  2. lululemon anti-slip headband.  I’ve talked about this headband before and I really do enjoy it.  It does what it says it will do… keep your hair in place without falling out of your hair.  It’s also really easy to keep clean.  Wash it with your normal clothes and lay to dry. Simple.
  3. Apple headphones.  I’m sure I could find other headphones, but I don’t mind using these.  Some people complain about the fit, but they fit me just find and don’t bother my ears.
  4. Hair tie.  I absolutely hate when I don’t have a hair tie and I need one.  I like to wrap my hair tie around my headphones so that I never forget one.  It also doubles as a band to keep my headphones from getting tangled up in my gym bag.
  5. .  These are my go-to shorts.  They are lightweight with a liner inside, so I don’t feel scandalous!
  6. Old Navy workout tank.  This is a tank that is part of their dri-fit line.  I picked up one in orange and one in pink last time I was at Old Navy for less than $10 a tank.  Can’t beat that price.
  7. Champion sports bra.  Champion is the only brand of sports bras that I own.  I don’t think I’ll ever stray from this brand, because it works for me.  However, if you have suggestions on other brands I should try, comment below.
  8. Nike sneakers.  I need new sneakers.  Enough said.

I am in love with the lululemon headbands! It’s awesome that I don’t have readjust them during my runs! 🙂

I know!! I’m so glad I found a headband I like. I want to try out they thinner ones too.

I have a thin one, & it’s just as great! You can also adjust it to fit your head perfectly 🙂

I’m in need of some new headbands. I LIVE in them. I love your Lulu one…going on my “want” list!

I actually don’t take a bag to the gym, unless I’m going to spin in which case I use a bag to carry my spin shoes. I usually just bring a Vera Bradley wristlet that holds my iPhone, car keys, headphones (I use the Apple ones too!), & group exercise schedule!

This girl could use a new gym bag! Going to look into LuluLemon. This is dangerous. 😉

i really love the one at lululemon that can be adjusted. I think its in the yoga section.
