July Goal Recap & August Goals

It’s almost August.  I’ve been engaged for 9 months already.  Goodness, where does the time go.  A few updates before I get into my July Goal Recap & August Goals post.  I’ve organized my “Wedding” page.  So now when you click at the Wedding tab at the top menu, you won’t be directed to a bunch of random posts.  Now, if you’re looking for something specific you can easily find it.  After you’re done reading this post, go check it out!

1.  Finish putting together my home office.  Completed.  I mean I guess it will never be 100% complete, but I have my photos hung on the wall and my desk decorated.  It will be a work in progress and forever evolving I’m sure.

2.  Develop a “Bride to Be” workout plan for the next few months.  Did not complete.  But I’m working on it this week.  More to come!

3.  Book out Wedding photographer and florist.  Completed.  We booked our photographer (post about that soon), and our florist we just met with this past weekend.  We have to sign our contract with our florist, but all looks good to move forward!

1.  Develop a “Bride to Be” workout plan and buy new sneakers.  I am in desperate need of new sneakers.  I haven’t purchased new sneakers in almost three years.  Unfortunately, the ones I want (Nike Free Runs +3 in Hot Punch) aren’t available anymore.  Talk about a buzz-kill. 

2.  Write at least 5 freelance posts this month.  As you know, I write for FitDay.com, but I’d like to do more writing for them, than I’m currently doing.  There are tons of opportunities to write, but I never get the time.  August is the month that I’m going to start making time!

3. Practice at yoga at least 1x per week using videos from Reflexion Yoga.  I talked about Reflexion Yoga a month or so ago and told you all about how much I love this website.  (Side note: I’m not getting paid to mention this to you again).  I hope to use my account to practice yoga at-home more frequently this month.  Who wants to do it with me?  Maybe I’ll do a yoga recap post each week to talk about my practice.

Yay you almost completed them all :D. I love the Nike Free Runs! Those will defiantly be the next shoe (one like them) that I get for walks and weights. My goals are to just stay up on things: not do something because I don’t feel like it or because I’m tired. The house won’t clean itself!

Im joining you in the yoga and raising you to 2 times a week :0)
