Our Pre-Baby Bucket List

Now that I’m a married woman, people have been asking when we are planning to have children.  For as long as I can remember, I always knew that I’d have children before I turned 30, but I never had a specific age in mind.  Bryan and I spoke about the topic many times in the past and have come to the conclusion that when we’re ready to children we’ll know.

Over the past week, I’ve been reading a lot about newlywed life, putting our finances in order, changing my name, and other important things to do the first year of marriage.  I signed out of my TheKnot.com account and started a new account with TheNest.com.  While looking through articles, I found a blog post regarding a pre-baby bucket list and thought that it was a genius idea.  Of course you can’t really plan for the exact day that you’ll get pregnant, but it’s good to have some goals in mind before you bring a baby into the world.

I plan to use this blog post as a working document.  I plan to update this list frequently, and hopefully cross some items off as the months pass.  To make this convenient for my readers (and for myself), you can find this post by simply clicking on the graphic in the sidebar. That way, months from now you (and I) won’t have to click through pages of content in order to find this list.

I love this idea! I think we’ll definitely do something similar after the wedding 🙂

I always thought I’d want a kid before 30 as well, but here I am at 28 and I’m definitely not feeling the itch yet!

This is a good list though!
