Pro Compression Review

I woke up yesterday morning with a terrible pain in my legs.  This time it wasn’t just the sunburn talking, it was the excruciating shin splints.  I wondered why I had shin splints after a race when I didn’t get many during regular runs at the gym.  Then I remembered that the treadmill has some give, where as the asphalt doesn’t bounce back at you.  OUCH.  To make it even worse, I chose heels to wear to work without thinking that walking in heels all day would be painful.

All day I thought about how much I just wanted to go home, shower, and put on the Pro Compression socks that I have.  Pro Compression was generous enough to send me two pairs of the Marathon sock (one pair in pink and one in baby blue).   I slid on the pink ones yesterday and relaxed all night long.

The Marathon sock:

  • Is a full-length compression sock
  • Helps improve blood flow resulting in more efficient recovery
  • Provides support to critical muscles and tendons
  • Makes me a HAPPY CAMPER!

I wore these pink beauties from 5:30pm yesterday until 7:00am this morning.  Yes, I wore them to bed.  I woke up feeling a lot better than yesterday.  My shin splints significantly felt better!  Yes, no need for Advil or ibuprofen, because these work wonders!

I got a coupon code from active.com and mine just came in the mail yesterday! I decided to get hot pink as well. I was looking for pictures online to see if having the white show a bit was normal and found your blog. It was one of those eerie moments when I found a fellow runner/blogger who got hot pink pro compression socks and whose name also happens to be Nicole…weird!

I have bursa in my upper right calf from a hamstring strain so I got these to help mitigate that issue…

i forgot to put the l in gmail in my last comment, so my email isn’t correct in the required field. So feel free to delete the other duplicate comment(s). Not sure if it did it twice…sorry!
