1. What made you want to make a youtube channel?
Well, this is kind of strange, but watching people apply makeup makes me sooo relaxed, so freshman year, in the dorms I used to watch people do makeup on youtube before I went to bed. I really had no idea about the subscriptions and partners or anything like that until my roommate got me hooked onto “Juicytuesday”. After watching her for a while I decided to make some video’s of my own.
2. What is your daily morning and nighttime routine like?
Ohh gosh… where do I begin with my mornings? Let’s see… I hit my alarm clock about 5 times (not even kidding)… I am one of those people haha! Then I fly out of bed and start the coffee machine. Next I blow dry only the top layer of hair and my bangs using a large round brush. I put on concealer, bronzer, lipgloss and mascara. Next I stare at my closest for a few minutes and after about 3 trial and error outfits, I grab my coffee and headphones and I am out the door! At night I am usually awake until about 2am studying and doing random things either at the library or my apartment. I never get very much sleep!
3. If you could pick your most favorite item of clothing, what would it be and why?
Oh my goodness this is so tough… I am going to have to say this really really BRIGHT blue dress I have. Seems kinda weird that I would choose a bright blue dress as my all time favorite item of clothing haha but it honestly makes me feel so good when I wear it. I don’t wear it often, but when I do I always have a wonderful night. It is a really simple V-neck, curve hugging dress, but whenever I wear it people love it and it makes me feel sexy. Aside from all that, I have the greatest memories wearing that dress… I take it with me whenever I travel!
4. What does your room look like?
CLEAN!!!! Haha only for today though. I literately just finished cleaning before sitting down for this. On a normal day, I have a pile of clothes sitting in my corner (half clean/half dirty) my bed is a mess and random things are everywhere! I am not in my room very often (only to change and sleep) so it tends to get dirty and doesn’t bother me… then I snap and go crazy cleaning! But my room at school is all pink/black and white themed with Eiffel tower posters and statues and tons of pictures! My room at home is always spotless (cause I am usually not there) and it is really, really big (not to sounds bratty, but it is seriously huge haha). It has such nice furniture but I am such a little kid at heart and have stuffed animals everywhere haha
5. I absolutely love your hair color! Do you dye your hair yourself? If so, what box dye did you use?
Thank you! It is actually my natural color! I am sooo scared to dye my hair since 4 years ago I tried to dye it black.. and it stayed for months!!! The box said it would last only 28 shampoo’s, but that did NOT happen! I ended up having to get it bleached twice and then dyed brown. So for now, I just keep my hair natural!
6. Now that you are growing out your fingernails (me too!!), what color nail polish and brand is your favorite?
First off, yay for not biting nails!!! It has been almost 4 weeks of no biting! (Glad you are joining me!). But lets see, I will give you 2 polishes, the first is a super bright and fun neon color by Milani. It is called “Pink Pop” and it is my absolute favorite color… looks like a pink highlighter. Because that color is so intense, a neutral color that I love is “Jackie Oh My” by essie. The color is a soft white/cream color with subtle white shimmer. It is my roommates but she lets me use it.
7. Whats on your ipod recently?
I have a lot of One Republic, Parachute, Carolina Liars, Mat Kearney and The Script. I just made the best Pandora station and I am so excited about it haha
8. If you could pick your dream job, what would it be? and where would you live?
My dream job is being a doctor in either California or London. I am in LOVE with both of those places and my ultimate goal in life is to be able to show compassion and be trusted by people in their most vulnerable and desperate times of need. Over any of that though, I want to have a happy family — how cliché haha
