Weekend Recap (9/8–9/9) & September Goals

September 10, 2012

It’s Monday again my friends.  I feel like Friday was just yesterday!  This weekend I had a lot of down time, but a lot of plans as well.

Saturday

Saturday morning, I woke up and it was raining.  Lululemon’s outdoor yoga got cancelled and I didn’t feel like heading to the gym.  I spent the morning relaxing on the couch watching “Kell on Earth” on Netflix.  Gosh, I love that show.

Saturday night, Bry and I went to my friends Lauren and Mike’s new house.  They moved into their house a few months ago, but this was the first time we had the chance to check it out.  It’s beautiful!  The night included a lot of wine, reminiscing about college, and playing board games… which always is a great time.

Sunday

We didn’t get to bed until 3am after getting home from Lauren’s house, so waking up early for my long run didn’t happen.  I woke up sometime around 10, had a light breakfast, then went back to sleep until 1pm.

A few hours later, Bryan and I went to Rebecca’s house for dinner.  Rebecca is my dad’s girlfriend.  It was nice night, because my dad was there as well as my sister!  We had a delicious dinner of crab cakes, stewed tomatoes, veggies, cheesy potatoes, potato salad, salad + more.  There was an abundance of food!  For dessert I had homemade cheesecake with cherries on top.  Absolutely amazing.

Is that Kelly from ANTM??

My September goals are just to make it through class lol Good luck with your half marathon training!! I’m too afraid to run one

Chelsea, IDK. It’s Kelly from the City and Kell on Earth. She owns her own Fashion PR agency, People’s Revolution. Not sure if she was on ANTM…

Thanks Erica! They are the 5 inch shorts from J. Crew.

One of my fitness goals is to continue my half marathon plan too! When is your half marathon?

My half is November 18! I’m super nervous, but I know that I can do it! Just have to keep pushing through training and hope it all pays off.

Mine is the same day too! You’re going to do awesome!! 🙂 I love Hal Higdon’s training plan, and I feel like it got to the finish line of my first half.

I can’t wait to continue training and keep pushing myself. Everyone I’ve talked to seemed to have a good experience with a Hal Higdon plan.

I need to Clean out the photo file on my iPhone too! It gets so bad since that is the only way I take pictures for my blog. God luck on your September goals!

Haha, my iPhone keeps saying this notification that my iCloud is full, so maybe it’s time to clear out some things.

Awesome goals! The 4-Hour Workweek is on my list, too!

Thanks Sarah. I got it from the library (yes, the library!) so I need to read it soon!

Girl, you’ve got some goals! You should link up with us (got several FFAs there) on Mondays!

You reminded me of a goal of mine…to clean up the picture files on my laptop!!! They’re atrocious!!

Hi melissa, definitely! give me the details!

Loving the green shorts!! And you and your sister are identical!
Glad to hear you had a good weekend and those are some super realistic goals. Kudos!
This weekend, I relaxed (finally!) and made a year-long food challenge.
ps. You and Bryan? Too cute!

Thanks Chelsie! Haha, I don’t think me and my sister look anything alike! The shorts are from J.Crew I love them!

You’re definitely not an objective observer when it comes to the likenesses between you and your sister. I was worried that I was going to say that you look alike and have you respond with “Duh. We’re identical twins!”. Literally. haha. Have a great day (and a great week!) 🙂

AHhh Chelsie, no way! We’re actually a few years apart! She’s 21 and I’ll be 24 this year.
