It’s been a low-key but hectic morning so far. I woke up at 5:15 to go to the gym and do my 3 miles for the day, but I couldn’t keep my eyes open long enough to actually move. I listened to my body and went back to sleep for a bit. I finally got up around 6 and figured that I’d go to the gym after work.
For the past hour I’ve been managing my bank accounts, finishing up freelance articles, writing this post and figuring out what I’m wearing today. Our washer has been messed up for the past few days, so my options are limited.
I was on my friend Jessie’s blog this morning and saw that she did a 15 Short and Simple Questions survey. I just had to fill it out. You know that I love my surveys!

Favorite ice cream flavor? Turkey Hill “Vanilla Bean.” It’s probably the only vanilla bean that I really enjoy. This has been a favorite for years!
Favorite dessert? Cheesecake Factory Original Style Cheesecake.
Favorite meal? I guess it really depends on my mood. Lately I’ve been loving vegetable soup and salads with goat cheese.
What did you major in? Undergrad degree was psychology and grad degree was communication.
Who is your best friend? Bryan! That was an easy question. He’s always there for me when I need him.
Do you have any siblings? One younger sister, Tara.
Single or taken? Happily taken.
Favorite TV shows? Currently enjoying Dexter.
Where have you traveled? Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, California, Colorado (just in the airport).
Do you work out? Of course! Running and yoga are my favorite ways to work out.
Currently reading? The Defining Decade.
Pets? None, but I’ve been dying to get a mini dachshund.
Hobbies? Running, yoga, writing, spending time with Bry, Pinning 
Mac or PC? I have a PC, but have been wanting a Mac for years now.
Staples in your kitchen? Our Keurig machine, Franks Red Hot sauce

hahaha Twilight: eclipse (rereading). My job is pretty normal …favorite show is by far New Girl!!! Least favorite, Jersey Shore, so happy they are discontinuing it!!!
I love New Girl! Jess is such a great character, plus the one guy (i forget his name) is super hot 🙂
I highly recommend a Mac. I just got a MacBook Air and it is LIFE CHANGING.
Also, mini daschunds are so cute. My dad has one and he’s my corgi’s best friend 🙂
I need to get the MacBook Pro asap. I never seem to have enough saved for it, because something else always needs to be purchased.
Corgis are adorable too! They kind of remind me of dachshunds but with more fur 🙂
I’m currently reading Gone Girl. Sadly, I haven’t had any time lately to read though! I always want to before bed, and then I’m so exhausted I can’t manage to keep my eyes open!
OMG I’m the same way. I have to lay in bed an hour before I start getting tired, because reading makes me so sleepy. IDK how people read right before bed!

Currently reading/studying Integrated Nutrition for school.
Craziest job I ever had was a paper route when I was 11 — what was crazy was that I did it through an especially cold and snowy Canadian winter. Working at lululemon and Roots during the holiday season was also crazy, but that’s more because the stores were both INSANELY busy from open to close.
Favourite TV show — probably ‘Til Debt Do Us Part.
