I’ve been doing Friday Favorites on the blog for a while now.  I like recapping my week in photos because it gives me a chance to reflect on this week and prepare for next.  However, I do want to add another section to my Friday Favorites post.  Moving forward, I’ll be mentioned my Five Favorite Workouts from the past week.  Clare @ Fitting It All In structures her Friday posts like this and I’ve grown to really like it!  Happy Friday!

This week I juiced with the random items I had left in my fridge.  This juice has 3 small apples, 1 grapefruit, 1/2 cucumber and 2 large carrots.  Mmm.  It was delicious.  I put it a huge wine glass just for fun.  Some people don’t like the little bit of froth at the top, but I really like it.  If you have a Breville juicer, you can easily get rid of the froth by using the attachment for the juicing jug.

Getting some blogging done while watching The Bachelorette.  I can’t say that I was super surprised at the ending.  Chris was a front runner for me since the beginning, but towards the end I kind of wanted the drama of Brooks coming back because the whole season for me was just kind of bleh.  Thoughts?

Next week I’m planning on doing a whole post on this and the Ezekiel bread.  *Yes, I bought these products myself and the company is not compensating me for mentioning them.

Basically it’s the best bread ever and I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back to buying regular whole wheat.  If you’re used to fluffy white bread, this is definitely a change, but a SO VERY GOOD change.  If you’re interested, you can find it in your freezer section.  Here are some of the highlights of what this bread offers.

  • No flour.  Studies have shown that grinding grains into flour increases the surface area upon which enzymes in the body can work to quickly convert starch into glucose.
  • No GMOs.
  • No refined sugars.  When sugar is refined and processed there are many harmful ingredients that are added to the sugar as a result.  Instead, they use malted barley, a natural sweetener produced from sprouted barley, which is carb made of mostly complex carbohydrates, rather than the ‘sugar’ carbohydrates.
  • No artificial preservatives or shortenings.

    Five Favorite Workouts

    Monday: Rest

Tuesday: Reflexion Yoga Video – Shoulder Opening with Sasha

Wednesday: Light stretching on my own

Thursday: Reflexion Yoga Video – Rest and Realign with Sasha

Friday: Most likely another yoga video on Reflexion Yoga or this YouTube channel I found called Sarah Beth Yoga.  She’s freaking awesome.  I hope she can teach me arm balances.
