Friday Favorites

Good morning and happy Friday!  Tonight Bry and I are going to a haunted house with my dad and his girlfriend so I’m pretty pumped for that.  I haven’t been to a haunted house in years, so this should be fun.  Always nice to spend time with the family.

Anyway, here are some of my favorites from this week:

The Juice for Juicing Newbies

This week I wrote an article for FitDay titled, “The Juice for Juicing Newbies.”  I’m sharing my favorite juice for people who are new to juicing.  Since getting my juicer last year, I’ve tried a bunch of different recipes – both good and bad.  I’m happy to say that the juice I’m sharing with my FitDay readers is the absolute perfect first juice.  Some juices are a mixture of only green ingredients (i.e. kale, spinach, cucumber, with a hint of lemon).  This juice is great because it mixes a bit of greens with a bunch of sweet veggies and fruits.  Go on over to my post and let me know what you think!

Talking about writing… I got a bunch of it done early Thursday morning.  Anyone else like to get writing tasks done in the mornings?  My brain works better then.  I had my coffee, my laptop, pjs and my bed.  What could be better than that?

I also spent some time this week writing important to-dos in my Lilly Pulitzer planner that I had since last year.  I honestly haven’t used this much this year at all.  I received it before I moved into my new place and kind of forgot about it.  It was actually in a box I didn’t unpack.  Crazy!  I’m glad I found it again and started getting more organized.

I don’t know about you, but there’s not many games I like playing on my phone.  Instagram on the other hand is a whole different story Smile.  However, my favorite game for a while now has been Flow Free.  You basically have to connect all the dots without intersecting them and ensuring that you cover the whole grid.  I finished all the levels last year, but didn’t get them all perfect.  A perfect score is when you connect them all in one try.  So if there are 10 dots, you have 10 moves to get it completed.  It’s harder than it looks.  I’m actually REALLY good at it.  I can get levels done in seconds – seriously.  Best game ever.

I reposted this image from my cousin Julia’s instagram account.  Absolutely love it.  It’s a quote from a character from One Tree Hill.  Although I never really got into that show, I always find the best quotes from there.  It’s true, isn’t it?

You got me addicted to that game!! I haven’t played in a while though, I got stuck on a level haha. I’ve been playing this game called Take It Easy. You have to match up the colors, sometimes it wants you to do a design, it’s actually a lot harder than it sounds haha. I did a little stretching of my own last night! No yoga stretches, but some that I did in gymnastics, and I’m considering that my yoga!

its a fun game lol i love it
