Jewelsdot Review

Yesterday afternoon I was sitting on the couch working on my freelance projects when my doorbell rang.  Our doorbell rarely rings, because we hardly ever have unexpected guests.  That being said, I jumped up and ran to answer it!  It was Mr. Fed Ex man with a package for me.  YAY.  Does anyone else really enjoy getting packages in the mail?

I ripped open the Fed Ex box and inside was a bubble wrap envelope with this little box.

Isn’t the packaging pretty?!  I love when companies take the time in presentation.  I think it can definitely make or break a product.  After I ripped open the wrapping, there was a small box inside!  And inside the box was the most gorgeous necklace.

This is the Small Diamond Horseshoe Necklace from Jewelsdot (Jeweldot.com).  Isn’t it gorgeous?  I’m already wearing it basically all day and night.  Here’s some details about the necklace.

  • 14K gold (however it also comes in rose gold and yellow gold)
  • Handmade item
  • Made to order
  • Weight = approximately 1.40 grams
  • 26 round diamonds (0.05 ct)
  • Pendant is 1/2 inch tall
  • Chain sizes = 16, 17 or 18 inches
  • Only ships to United States from Los Angeles, California.
  • Cost = $225

I absolutely love this necklace and can’t say enough good things about it.  It’s perfect for every day wear plus it can be dressed up for a night out.  It’s also REALLY sturdy and well made.

PS: not sure why my neck looks sunburnt here.  I haven’t been in the sun in weeks.

I love the necklace! We have an old horseshoe above our front door that we found in a thrift store. They represent good luck, specifically when the ends point up, supposedly catching and retaining good energy. I think they also represent protection as they protect the horse. 🙂
