Today I’m sharing a gift guide that is perfect for babies (6mo+) and toddlers. Toy guides can get overwhelming, but rest assured that each item here has my stamp of approval. I’m only including items that are either on Vienna’s wishlist, something we already own and love, or something we’re gifting to kiddos we know. Alright, let’s get into it.
1. Melissa & Doug Wooden Table & Chairs Set: We bought this furniture set for our nephew for Christmas. He’s only 14 months old, but he’ll be able to use it for years to come. It’s great for reading, coloring, doing puzzles, whatever!
2. Alimrose Silver Angel Bunny: How sweet is this Angel Bunny? I’m very picky with stuffed animals, but Alimrose makes the most precious ones. The Baby Belle Bunny is on Vienna’s wishlist, but it’s unfortunately sold out. This Angel Bunny is just as cute.
3. “Love is a Tutu” by Amy Novesky: I grew up as a dancer and hope to enroll Vienna one day. In the meantime, this book all about ballet is too precious to pass up.
4. UGG Jorie II Boots: It won’t be long before Vienna is walking, so shoes with a rubber sole are much needed this Christmas. These baby UGGs are not only adorable, but they will keep your little one’s toes nice and warm.
5. VTech Sit to Stand Walker: Once Vienna started pulling herself up on our coffee table, I knew she’d love this Sit to Stand walker. It’s definitely one of my best purchases of the year. She loves slowly pushing it around our living room. She also loves sitting and pushing all the buttons on the front panel. You’ll get a lot of use out of this, even if your little one isn’t mobile yet.
6. Fisher-Price Baby’s First Block Set: I’m a bit behind on shopping this year, as I only bought one present so far for Vienna. It’s this block set from Fisher-Price. She’s going to have a blast sorting, stacking and dropping the blocks through the slots in the bucket.
7. Pottery Barn Kids Fawn Hooded Towel: We own one of the PB Kids hooded towels and I can honestly say that they are definitely worth purchasing. Ours still looks brand new even after a hundred washes.
8. “Madeline” by Ludwig Bemelmans: “Madeline” was one of my favorite books when I was a child, so I want to add it to Vienna’s book collection. The illustrations are gorgeous and the storyline is timeless. If you already have “Madeline,” there’s an entire Madeline series, including Madeline’s Christmas and Madeline in London.
9. The North Face Jacket: Vienna is getting this coat for Christmas. I love that it’s a light pink color (which I consider a neutral), is water repellant, and has a hood. It’s also machine washable, which is ideal since I’m sure she’ll get drool and stains all over it.
10. Baby Bling 3-Pack Knot Headbands: I’ve purchased a number of bows from Baby Bling since Vienna was born. They are one of the few brands that actually stay on her head and grow with her. They usually sell for $11 a piece, but you can get this set of 3 for under $25!
11. VTech Busy Learners Activity Cube: Our most used toy is by far this activity cube by VTech. I got it for my baby shower and Vienna’s been a huge fan since 4 months. It keeps her occupied for a while. I recommend it to everyone I know. Seriously. Buy it if you don’t already own it.
12. Hape Pound & Tap Bench: Another item on Vienna’s list is this multifunctional musical toy from Hape. It promotes dexterity, hand eye coordination, manipulation, arm movement and cause and effect.
