Nov. Goal Recap & Dec. Goals

  /
December 3, 2013

The holiday season has officially arrived!  Over the past week I finished the majority of my Christmas shopping, but I’m still looking for the perfect present for someone special – ahem, Bryan.  I’m sure I’ll figure something unique to buy him.  In the meantime, let’s take a look back at November.

My favorite posts from November:

November Goal Recap - via simply-nicole.com

Since I had a pretty nasty cold for the majority of November, I wasn’t able to accomplish most of the goals I set for myself.  That being said, I am going over to the gym this afternoon to get a short run completed in my new sneakers!  More on that later this week.

1. Register for a half marathon in the spring.  Did not complete.  Not sure if a half marathon in the spring will be doable since I’ll be super busy planning this wedding, but we shall see.  More to come on this.

2.  Start running.  Sort of completed.  I went for a run in the beginning of the month just before I had this nasty cold.  The rest of the month I didn’t exercise at all.  TRUTH.

3.  Stretch more.  Sort of completed.  I made an effort to stretch my legs out in the mornings, but I want to make this a priority in December.

1.  Stretch more.  Yep, it’s going on this month’s goal list again.  Really going to try to get this accomplished this month.  Maybe I’ll set reminders in my cell phone.

2.  Run at least once a week.  I figured I’d start small with this running goal.

3.  Do yoga at least 2x a week.  Reflexion Yoga, I’m coming for you!

I had planned to do a plank a day in November. I kept forgetting haha. So I totally failed that one.

My main goal for December are to do more weight training (at least 2x a week rather than just 1x week).

I think you’d be able to do a half marathon and plan a wedding! It would be a little bit of you time before the rest of the day gets crazy with planning :). My plans are to make stretching a priority, and just stay on track with my goals.

My goal is to survive finals and starting a new job in the same week. I don’t think I thought this through! Good luck with your goals. I have been majorly slacking on the running too. It’s so cold and I just don’t want to leave the warmth of the house.
