September & October Amazon Purchases

My Amazon purchases over the last two months were super random… like the one morning I woke up and decided I wanted a wireless computer mouse. There were some duds for sure, including the worst phone tripod, but the items below are all winners.

1. Wireless Computer Mouse – I decided to leave 1995 and upgrade to a wireless mouse this month. To say I was excited is an understatement that I’m embarrassed to admit. This one comes in a bunch of colors (I got white) and is only $10.99.

2. Barefoot Contessa Modern Comfort Cookbook – I’m a huge Ina fan. I have her French cookbook, so when I heard she was coming out with a new one I had to mark the date on my calendar. She does not disappoint! I’ve already made a few things, including the shrimp linguine fra diavolo and black and white cookies. Everything is so yum.

3. Kitsch Spiral Cord Hair Ties – My hair stylist Zoe was wearing this hair tie on her wrist last time I saw her and she recommended that I give them a try. I’m a fan. They’ll leave a crease in your hair if you take it down, but they stay put in my thin hair.

4. Phone Ring Holder – I’ve never been a fan of pop-sockets, so I’ve been using this ring holder for a while. It’s one of my favorite tech accessories.

5. Clear iPhone Case – I pair the ring holder with this clear phone case. I like that it feels very protective without feeling bulky.

6. Zipper Pouches – After I posted these pouches on IG stories, I had so many DMs about whether they are easy to open and close (they are) and if they will last longer than a normal Ziploc bag (they do). I use them to hold little puzzle pieces, markers, and toys. I label each bag so it’s easier to know what goes where.

7. Buffalo Plaid Door Mat – I love this door mat because it can be used all year round and it looks great layered under a more traditional mat.

8. Black Curtain Rod – I hung curtains in our living room a couple months ago and they transformed the space completely. This matte black rod is absolutely perfect and is really affordable.

9. Curtain Clip Rings – Another essential part of the curtain project was this set of curtain clip rings. I went with matte black to match the rod, but they come in silver too.

10. Linen Style Curtains – I can’t say enough great things about these curtains. I have them in our master bedroom in the color “angora” and in the living room in the color color “natural.” It’s hard to tell in my IG photo, but I used 2 sets (4 panels) to achieve this look. You want the window to look full.

11. Maybelline Lifter Gloss in “Silk” – Tiktok made me do it. After seeing numerous makeup videos featuring this lip gloss, I had to give it a shot. Surprisingly, it lives up to the hype. It’s not sticky, is the perfect shade for everyday, and stays on for a while.

12. Phone stand – I’ve been wanting to make more video content and this stand works so well. I tested it out a few days ago and am very pleased with the results. I like that it clips onto any ledge and doesn’t show any weird tripod legs when shooting from above. Highly recommend!
